I can actually say I'm finally at a place where I am happy. Not like smiley, OMG, so happy, but happy with my life. Throughout my life I have really struggled with this concept, but I do believe everything happens for a reason, whether it's positive or negative. My home life, school life, work life, relationships, and mental health are all in a place where I never thought they'd be. I got lucky with a few of them being that things seemed to fall into place one after another, but for some of it, I had to make it happen. I know it can sound a bit cliche to instantly go to the "my child changed me," but I guess I can say he did, or at least made me see things differently.
It seems I still want more from my life, both big and small. Old dreams and desires I had when I was younger have finally come back, meaning it's time for me to make them happen, no matter what the process it.
The autofocus works pretty fast, especially when you're chasing a toddler around. This lens isn't as light as some of Nikon's budget lenses but it's still super easy to carry and doesn't weigh your bag down. I plan on going into a more detailed review in a future post. If you're hesitant about purchasing this lens, don't be, it's totally worth it.
